Weather
Michigan's weather is marked by four distinct seasons, with cold and snowy winters, hot and humid summers, and chilly autumns. The weather changes often, with strong storms in the spring and early summer. Autumns can be spectacular because of the beautiful coloring of fall foliage, or alternatively drizzly and gray. It is well to note during which season you will be visiting so that you will be prepared for the weather.
The landscape and climate of the United States ranges from tundra (Alaska), to temperate (most of the Midwest) to tropical (Florida). If you wish to know about the weather in the U.S., it is a very good idea to contact your nation's U.S. consulate office in a particular region, a reliable travel agency or tour planning professional, and perhaps the U.S. Chamber of Commerce or Board of Tourism for the state of the U.S. in which you plan to tour.
